Do you "Ebay"? Even if you don't, I'm sure you've heard about the world's largest on-line auction site. It's hard to miss these days. They advertise on prime time TV, and not a week goes by without an Ebay story in the newspaper, some good, and also some "horror stories".
Pictured below is a sample page of an Ebay auction listing.
We've (my significant other, and I) have been both buying and selling on Ebay since October 28th. of 1999. We've used it to sell goods that were not "moving" in her retail store here in San Antonio, and more recently, to liquidate inventory from that store.
Whenever I need to purchase something, the first place I look is on Ebay. Prices found there are usually far more attractive than buying "retail". If you are cautious, and pay attention to the "seller's feedback”, you can find some real bargains! Some of my recent purchases have included new clothing (Diesel jeans for $40.00, scuba gear (regulator for $65.00, and computer software (Norton Internet Security 2008 for 3 PC's for $24.00). * Shameless plug here: In fact I have a website just for people wanting to sell their “stuff” on Ebay, who prefer not to get involved with the learning curve on how to get started selling sucessfully.
