With the Oyster Bake this weekend, Fiesta San Antonio 2008 is now in full swing. The next notable event is the Texas Cavalier's River Parade on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. While lots of tickets are sold for this event for the choice viewing spots, you can still participate by viewing for free from many spots in restaurants, bars, and hotels along the RiverWalk.      The Texas Cavaliers is an organization of over 500 businesses, civic and community leaders that was founded in 1926 to preserve and promote the ideals for which the heroes of the Alamo died. Interestingly, it was also founded to promote horsemanship in a day when automobiles were becoming more abundant. Today its purpose also includes civic and charitable contributions.
